Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as browser local storage, that we use for comparable purposes.
2. How We Use Cookies
Apptechies.com is built to keep cookie use to the minimum needed to run the Site properly. The table below lists every category of cookie or similar local storage we actually use, not a generic list of cookies that might theoretically apply.

3. Cookies We Deliberately Do Not Use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies to build a cross-site profile of visitors, and our primary analytics tool (Umami) is self-hosted and cookieless by design rather than a third-party tracker. If we ever change that approach, this policy will be updated first.
4. Managing Cookies
The first time you visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks whether to turn on Advertising & Marketing cookies. Choosing "Necessary Only" keeps them off; choosing "Accept All" turns them on. You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie Preferences in the footer at the bottom of any page, which reopens the same banner.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers let you:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually.
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party ones.
- Block all cookies from being set (note: this may affect the admin panel and some interactive features).
- Open a private/incognito window that clears cookies when closed.
If Google-based advertising cookies are active, you can also manage ad personalization directly through your Google Account settings.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies and local storage we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
